Earlier this summer we held a contest to choose the name of the MMCD mosquito mascot and the winning entry was Vectoria! Now as we head into one of the most anticipated events of the summer - the Minnesota State Fair - Vectoria has been scoping out the place to find the best spots to educate people about mosquito-borne disease, integrated pest management, black flies, ticks, and more!

The Minnesota State Fair runs Thursday, August 26th through Monday, September 7th and MMCD will be in the Dairy building near the South entrance. Stop by and see us to learn about Integrated Pest Management, mosquitoes, black flies, ticks, and more! Our amazing staff will be on-hand all throughout the fair to answer your questions.
