Tires can be a breeding spot for mosquitoes if it holds water, as there’s nowhere for the water to escape. This is why it's important to keep unused tires stored indoors, to void getting caught in
Guidelines
Some of the rules for tire pickups are as follows:
- Must be off the rim.
- Must be located at a residential property.
- No large tractor tires.
- Requests for pickups greater than 50 will be handled on a case by case basis.
- Tires will be collected during the months of May through September.
You must be also living in one of the following counties:
- Hennepin
- Dakota
- Washington
- Anoka
- Ramsey
- Carver
- Scott
