Welcome to Metropolitan Mosquito Control’s Plymouth Facility! We are located near the intersection of 494 and hwy 55. We have a full time Regional Operations Manager, and five full time Field Operations Supervisors. Each season we hire 25 Seasonal Field Mosquito Technicians. The Field Tech position opens mid April and has the potential to last until mid October, with flexible start and end dates.
We cover the west metro area, starting in Minneapolis and working west through the Lake Minnetonka area. Our service area ends near Watertown and the surrounding nearby area. Each morning we start our day at the Plymouth Facility at 6:30 am and work until 3 pm unless there are overtime opportunities. Crews meet with their supervisor each morning to develop a plan for the day. We train our Field Technicians on the job and don’t send them out alone until they are comfortable with the tasks for that day.
