The Metropolitan Mosquito Control District hires around 190 seasonal staff each summer. Most positions are for Field Mosquito Technician located at our 6 suburban facilities: Andover, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Jordan, Rosemount, and Oakdale. Some of the field positions are for Unmanned Aircraft System/Drone Technicians.
Our St. Paul location hires for the Catch Basin Mosquito Technician and Entomology Lab Technician positions.
We are also hiring a seasonal Public Affairs Assistant based in St. Paul, a Warehouse Field Technician based in Oakdale, and a Tick Technician based in St. Paul.
The starting wage for 2025 is $17.00/hour.

MMCD employs about 50 full time staff involved in field operations, technical services, and business administration. The most frequently posted positions is Field Operations Supervisor.
